410 A2/U2
| Messerschmitt 410 A2/U4 from Revell - scale 1/72. Build straight OOB and painted with Humbrol enamels. This model depicts a 410 A2/U4 as flown by the ZG 26 in spring 1944 (Hildesheim - Germany). The U4 version was the most heavily armed of all A2 bomber destroyers and was armed with a impressive 5 cm. BK5 cannon. The Me 410 was a development based on the very unsuccessful Me 210. In spite of its outstanding performances the 410 were not in time to change the outcome of the war. |
